Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays throughout the entire year. It is a time to celebrate all the things that we have to be Grateful for and all the love and living we have enjoyed as well.

This Thanksgiving I will graciously let my children enjoy their other side of the family as they both have lots of parents, grandparents, step grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and more to celebrate with. We will celebrate in a week or so so we are volunteering tomorrow at Culvers Restaurant at Osage Beach, Missouri, serving pies and drinks and such to the great folks that get to enjoy a wonderful home cooked meal there. I am so looking forward to it. The Church of Osage Hills where we attend is doing the organizing together with Culvers management team. I think this is cool that this restaurant is doing this, I believe for the second year in a row.

Other than that, I don't have any good feelings toward merchants that insist on being open when their employees really need and want to be at home with the family. Take that note on how important it is to strengthen our home life and our family life instead of shopping for a sweater vest!

Here is a quick video I did on my super cooking, most of which came from recipes from Food Network, yes I am addicted!!!!

I failed to mention I also made the cranberry and orange relish from Trisha Yearwood's episode so tune into that online and see how easy, I mean how hard, it is to make that eating delight.

Enjoy and celebrate all life has to offer you. Sometimes I know we get packages of life lessons wrapped up with a bow that is not very palatable, but make due. You are learning a lesson from that gift of life. Learn it and move onto the next one.
