HIRING a knowledgeable real estate professional when buying a home or selling a home is a smart move.  Look for someone who has gone the extra mile to continue their education beyond the simple required CE or continuing education that is required to hold our licenses.  Those agents spend a lot of time, money and travel to obtain and keep those designations of education and knowledge.

You will be able to spot that when you look at their business card and see what we lovingly refer to as the 'alphabet soup' behind our names.  The various designations that we work toward, pay dues for and become members of national and international associations is important for you as a buyer or seller to acknowledge.
