Front Porch Living and family enjoyment
When you have to decide front door to the porch or back door to the patio, always go for the VIEW. Homebuyers are spending more and more time outdoors and enjoying Mother Nature, especially as the temperatures are more friendly to us humans and the cooler air lets us play games or conduct other activities in the great outdoors.
When you are getting ready to seller your home, make sure the outside and exterior areas of your home are such that persuade buyers to 'see themselves' sitting in those patio chairs, swinging on that front porch swing, playing horseshoes in the back yard; see themselves watching the game on the big screen on that special screened in porch area.
When you stage your outside area, take several photos of the patio furniture sat with beautiful and bright colorful tableware, napkins, placemats, candles and hanging outdoor lights. Have your umbrellas open on the photos and maybe add some twinkle lights. I am relatively frugile, so when you buy something to stage your home for sale, make sure you are buying something that will travel with you to your new place in the colors you LOVE and that highlight the ambiance of your home.
With homeownership on demand, make sure your place draws the buyers into the interior and exterior of your home. Sometimes the outside area will make the final buying decision especially if the buyers are outdoorsy (don't know if that is a word) kind of people.
